Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
The perfumery behind Chanel obviously knows what they’re doing. They represent the brand extremely well with this elegant perfume. It’s composed of bergamont, jasmine, and leaves an essence of vanilla and tonka bean on your skin hours and hours after you sprayed it on.
It’s a very oriental woody fragrance that does have a floral level to it. You’ll catch gentle wiffs of this fragrance all day. Classic yet totally wearable for everyday, Coco Mademoiselle is worth the price. Chanel does it again.
Angel by Thierry Mugler
This delicious scent is a cult favorite. It’s got some years on the market, too. Gifted to us in 1992, Angel goes down in perfume history as one of the most iconic oriental vanilla fragrances.
It’s sweet, candy-like, thick fragrance can be overpowering for some but it’s definitely long lasting. Anyone who has tried Angel can attest to the fact that the fragrance stuck with them for hours after application. Just one spritz and you’ll find yourself smelling gourmand cotton candy, honey, amber, and caramel all day long.
Yves Saint Laurent Opium
OK… so we’re torn here. Opium has been re-created several times and in several different formulations. Black Opium is a newer take on the perfume. It also comes in a sparkly, black bottle that looks beautiful on your vanity. Not that we’ve tried, or anything. However beautiful the Black Opium bottle is, Yves Saint Laurent can’t top their original Opium.
Opium is a spicy patchouli and myrrh based perfume that will surely last you hours. It’s a very sexy perfume that’s sure to grab anyone’s attention. While it’s been around forever, the formulation of Opium on the market now is absolutely fantastic and worth the try.
Classique Eau de Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier for Women
There aren’t enough adjectives to describe the deliciousness of Classique. When it came out in 1994, this spicy and sexy perfume quickly became a ride-or-die perfume for lots of women. With it’s amazing lasting power, Classique comes into the 21st century still ranked as one of the longest lasting and best smelling perfumes for women.
Creamy and vanilla focused, Classique is a unique blend of daffodils, sweet amber, and powders down to a vanilla bourbon and rum scent. Intoxicating, right?
This is such a glamorous perfume, but can you really expect anything less of Dior? Of all the long lasting perfumes, this one is really unique because it’s base isn’t made up of gourmand notes like vanilla. Instead, J’adore is floral and sweet due to it’s delicious mandarin, rose, and blackberry notes. It’s feminine, it’s floral… what more could you want out of a long lasting perfume?
Let the compliments flow.
Aquolina Pink Sugar
Trust us on this one, it’ll last you for days to come. While most of these longer lasting perfumes are marked towards the “Woman” crowd instead of a younger crowd, Pink Sugar will have your mouth watering regardless of age. Take a step back into yesteryear with Pink Sugar. Be reminded of candy-sweet days and delicious femininity.
The notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamont are strong. People will smell your cotton candy craze coming before you get there. The perfume’s drydown is just as tasty, leaving your skin and clothes scented with warmth and the essence of your favorite fall carnival.
For such a funky perfume, Lolita Lempicka packs an incredible punch. OK, maybe not a punch but a pungent awakening every time you smell it. The blend of jasmine, rosewood, sour cherry, praline and vanilla is incredible, but it gets better as it dries down and you’re left with a tarte licorice scent on your skin.
Even though the perfume originally hit the market in 1997, the perfumery discontinued it in 2010. Fortunately, the perfume was simply reformulated and re-launched as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum. With a spritz of this perfume, you’ll find yourself catching whiffs of this unique perfume all day.
Hypnotic Poison by Dior
Launched in 1998, this perfume has hung around to remind us how incredible the noses at Dior truly are. The top notes are fruity enough that you might be tempted to write this perfume off, but hang on! As this oriental vanilla perfume dries down, you’ll be warmed with coconut, sandalwood, almond and vanilla. Beautiful, right?
We like to think it dries down to smelling similar to the best Root Beer float you’ve ever had.
My Insolence by Guerlain
This fruity and soft perfume will leave you smelling like a delicious blend of raspberries on top of a lemon custard cake. Playful and bright, My Insolence is a touch lighter than it’s predecessor: Insolence. The original Insolence is much heavier, whereas My Insolence is the perfect feminine perfume for spring and summer.
Think romantic getaway with this perfume. Hello, Paris anyone?
Chloe Eau de Parfum by Chloe
We’ll finish on a fantastic bold, bright, and citrus blend. It’s light, zesty, and seductively strong; it’s not at all like it’s predecessor of the same name. This bold beauty will stay with you all day long.
Intended for everyday use, this is one of our favorite long lasting perfumes. Wear it to the office, wear it on a date, wear it out. With lots of different floral notes, Chloe is feminine and dries down to a warm, ambery scent.
