Brand Spotlight: Milani
We’re pretty convinced that Milani is one of the best kept makeup brand secrets to ever exist. Time after time they create products that work as well if not better than high end brands. Budget friendly, full of variety, and accessible who wouldn’t want to give Milani a go?
Here are our top ten favorite products from this brand.
Brow Shaping Clear Wax
Sounds funky, but we swear it isn’t. This brow shaping wax is easy to use. With one swipe, you can tame unruly eyebrows and create the look you want. For $5.00, why not give it a try? You get a lot of product, and it’s easy to simply resharpen the pencil this wax comes in.
Color Statement Lipstick
We’re pretty sure Milani is a well kept makeup secret. Their colors are pigmented, their glosses shine, and each product does exactly what it says it will. The vibrant pigment of the Color Statement Lipstick feels as good as it looks. Any hue you want to see on your lips, this lipstick comes in. The finishes vary, too. Our favorite shades are Pink Frost, Dulce Caramelo, Red Label and Sweet Nectar.
Rose Powder Blush
This is the most notorious Milani product, and for good reason. They’re richly pigmented, they come in matte and shimmery shades, and yes. They truly do rival Nars Orgasm in pigmentation and radiance. We’ll pick Luminoso or Rose d’Oro every single time. Sorry, Orgasm.
Baked Powder Blush
Somehow, these blushes are very creamy. Yes, they’re powders but they apply so flawlessly that you could confuse the two. With a natural finish, they compliment every look. Besides, the compact is cute and the product is shaped like an actual flower. How could you pass up one of these six blushes?
Bella Eyes Gel Powder Shadow
Here’s a trick: try using these shadows with a wet brush. They’ll glide on with one swipe of color, but the wet brush trick gives these shadows even more drama. They start as a gel and turn into a crease-free powder after application, but they blend easily either way. We added Bella Taupe, Bella Champagne, Bella Khaki, Dolci to our collection.
Amore Matte Metallic Lip Creme
There isn’t anything quite like this lip creme. We’re in love! The way these metallic liquid lipsticks hydrate your lips and stay put for hours through drinks or even dinner is incredible. Chromattic Addict, a beige hue, is the perfect replacement for your go to nude liquid lipstick. Get in on the rose gold trend with the shade Matterialistic.
Strobelight Instant Glow Powder
If the baked blushes rival high end brands like Nars, the Strobelight Instant Glow Powder rivals every single glow-kit you’ve seen on the market. They add natural radiance to your skin while providing a healthy, warm glow. And there’s a powder for every skin tone or look you could want to create. We’re big fans of the shades Summer Glow and Sunset Glow.
Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment
Yves St Laurent created a line of moistuizing oil treatments that add color to your lips. Not to be outdone, Milani responded with flavored moisturizing oil treatments. Can you guess which we’re partial to? This lip treatment comes in eight nourishing flavors. Treat your lips to a spot of color and kissable shine. Our favorite flavors are coconut almond, nourishing raspberry, and repairing primrose.
Smooth Finish Cream-to-Powder Makeup
Cream to powder foundations aren’t too common at this point, but this particular foundation is incredible and not to be missed. It can be hard to find in stores, but Walmart and Walgreens carry loads of shades online. Described as a complexion perfecter, this foundation is filled with light diffusers that help your skin look matte but camera ready. What’s not to like about hiding imperfections?
Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner
Kohl kajal eyeliners are not given enough credit. These babies will stick to your water line, line your tight line, and inner rims of your eyes without budging. The soft, blendable formula lasts forever, too. Because the eyeliner is so rich in color, you won’t need a lot which means this pencil will last you a long time. Talk about a win-win.
